The Shared House Principle
We all live together inside a reality we didn’t create and don’t fully understand. No one has the keys to what came before or what comes after.
Think of our world as a shared house. We all have private rooms that we decorate with our own beliefs, meanings, and purposes. That is your space. But what we all share is the same floor: this moment, this world, and this life together.
Since we share the house, we agree on these rules:
Roommates over Rivals: We cooperate on the house's needs first.
Help over Hype: Act to improve the space, don't just argue to win a point.
Protect the Floor: The planet and basic human dignity are the foundation we all stand on. We don't damage the foundation.
Keep the Hallway Clear: Keep your decor in your room. No one gets to force their "style" on others in the shared spaces.
Repair over Victory: When conflict happens, fixing the damage matters more than being "right."
We won’t solve the ultimate mysteries of the universe here. But we can make this house a lot more livable while we’re in it.
